FRAMING

Its of course possible to just order the art print or photograph here in our webshop, and frame it yourself with for example a IKEA-frame. Then you get a complete framed artwork at a really low price! But if you want to get a high quality framing, please read below about our framing-service.

About our framing 

Our frames are of a very high quality. Our prices are lower than custom framing at other frameshops, because our frames are produced in standard sizes in large quantities. Our frames can not be compared with other types of standard frames, such as IKEA's standard frames. 

Our wooden frames are made of solid wood, acid-free cardboard backing in museum quality and backboard of masonite. Our glass is polished edge clear glass of the highest quality, with high light transmission. Not that cheap acrylic or plexiglass, with high light reflectance. Other wooden standard frames is typically composed of fibers that have been compressed into fiberboards. Thus, not solid wood and its properties that we use. Our art prints and photographs is also spray-mounted on the museum cardboard, to get a total flat surface. In some cases we "hang" the print with acid free tape, if spray-glue is not appropriate for the specific artwork.

Our aluminium frames are made of high quality aluminum and has numerous of features. Finely cut corners, springs that fixes the back cover, specially designed mounting systems, solid corner construction and clear glass with polished edges. Our metal frames is not foil like other standard metal frames can consist of. We use real massive aluminum of the highest quality, at a nice price. 

The passepartout we use are luxury 1.4 mm thick porcelain suite color and acid-free for age-resistant frames. We tailor cut the passepartout opening according to each specific artwork so the framing have the high quality that we seek.

Wooden Frames

Our wooden frames is made of solid wood and all the frames have clear glass of the highest quality. The back board has complete mounting so you can easily hang the artwork on the wall by attaching a screw or nail. You can choose between Black, White, Birch, Gold and Silver for all of our wooden frames. You may choose from sizes 40x50cm, 60x80cm and 70x100cm for our framing. Sizes 40x50cm and 60x80cm are framed with 5cm wide porcelain white passepartout which is 1.4 mm thick. The largest size 70x100cm are framed without passepartout. The frame depth is 3.2 cm and width of 2cm. At the bottom of the page you will find interios pictures of how our artworks look like framed and ready. 


Aluminium Frames

Our aluminium frames is made of aluminium and all frames have clear glass of the highest quality. The back board has complete mounting so you can easily hang the artwork on the wall by attaching a screw or nail. You can choose between Black, White, Gold and Silver for all of our aluminium frames. You may choose from sizes 40x50cm, 60x80cm and 70x100cm for our framing. Sizes 40x50cm and 60x80cm are framed with 5cm wide porcelain white passepartout which is 1.4 mm thick. The largest size 70x100cm are framed without passepartout. The frame depth is 1.95 cm and width of 0.95cm. Passepartout

Our framing in sizes 40x50cm and 60x80cm are framed with 5cm wide passepartout. The passepartout are acid-free, porcelain white and 1.4 mm thick. We cut the passepartout according to the artworks size in our professional frameshop so we can obtain the highest quality of our framing.
