TOBIE GIDDIO

Born 1963, New Jersey, USA.  

Tobie Giddio has studied fashion illustration at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She began her career with creating weekly advertisements in New York Times for Bergdoorf Goodman. With a modern hand she brings old fashion in to present. Tobie began the 1990's with the intention to further refine and simplify the classic fashion drawing she had initiated in the 1980's. This process of simplification created a natural progression towards deconstruction and abstraction.

Tobie Giddio is today a world famous fashion illustrator, and has done works for prestigious clients such as Alexander McQueen, Swarovski, Tiffany & Co, Cartier, Marc Jacobs, Gloire, Le Cirque, Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and Bergdorf Goodman.
