Marguerite Sauvage is a young French artist from Paris now based in Sydney. She is a self-taught illustrator and has been drawing since she was a child. It was not until she graduated in law from University in 2001 that she decided to make it her profession, her passion was stronger than a pre-thinked path. Marguerite has worked since then as an artist, illustrator, art director, script writer and character designer in various fields for numerous clients such as Elle, Apple, Azzaro and Longchamp to mention a few. Her eye-catching work is soft yet powerful, combining sophisticated European sensibilities with line-work inspired by Asian traditional art and contemporary pop culture. The result is a well-edited, light lined, a sense for current trends in fashion, contemporary design, and colorful cosmopolitan characters rendered with a delicate hand.

Marguerite's work have been featured in publications worldwide over the years on various topics related to art and design. Her work is exhibited in art galleries worldwide and has also been awarded by American Illustration, Society of Illustrators and Applied Arts.
